Terms and Conditions
These terms cover the Conscious Growth Accelerator, a one to one coaching programme delivered by Seven Jacobs and Melissa Rose. They sit alongside the general Website and General Terms and Conditions of Discover Humanity Group Ltd. Where the two differ on something specific to this programme, these terms apply.
By booking, paying, or starting the programme, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
The programme is provided by Discover Humanity Group Ltd, trading as Discovery Group ("we", "us", "our"), together with Melissa Rose of InnerVox. "You" means the person taking part.
2. What the programme is
The Conscious Growth Accelerator is private one to one coaching, focused on confidence, internal roadblocks, and communicating your purpose clearly. It is offered in two sizes:
- The Catalyst: five private sessions of 75 minutes.
- The Full Growth Experience: ten private sessions of 75 minutes.
Both include a joint discovery session of 75 minutes with both coaches, in addition to the sessions above and at no extra charge. Both also include a private WhatsApp group with both coaches, access to the online hub, and the resource bundle described in section 7.
Sessions are delivered by Seven Jacobs, Melissa Rose, or both together. We decide the mix between us after your discovery session, based on what will help you most. You will not receive a written programme plan; the shape of your programme is explained to you directly.
3. Places and booking
The first intake is limited to eight clients in total. A place is confirmed only once payment, or the first instalment, has been received.
4. Fees and payment
Fees are confirmed with you on your introductory call and in writing before you commit. You can pay either:
- in full, by a single invoice; or
- in three monthly instalments. Instalments carry an additional 3% to cover card processing fees. The first is taken when you start, the next two on the same date in each of the following two months.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in pounds sterling.
5. Missed instalments
If an instalment fails and is not paid within seven days, we may pause your sessions and your access to the WhatsApp group and the hub until the account is brought up to date. We will contact you before pausing anything. Sums already paid are not refunded in this situation, and your twelve-week window is not extended because of a pause caused by non-payment.
6. Your right to cancel, and refunds
If you are booking as a consumer rather than for a business, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
If you want the programme to begin inside those 14 days, we will ask you to confirm that in writing. If you then cancel during the 14 days, you may be charged for the proportion of the programme already delivered, including any sessions held.
After the 14-day period ends, fees are non-refundable. This includes sessions you do not use within your twelve-week window.
To cancel, write to us using the contact details in section 16.
7. Hub access and the resource bundle
Your programme includes access to our online hub, hosted on Payhip, and to the resource bundle within it. At the time of writing this includes the Purposeful Work Compass, the Wheel of Life, a set of guided audio meditations, and the flow state guide. We add to it over time and the exact contents may change.
Hub access continues after your sessions finish, for as long as we continue to operate the hub. We may withdraw or change it if the platform closes, if the product ends, or for another reasonable operational reason. If we do, we will give you reasonable notice and, where we can, a way to download what you already have.
All materials are licensed to you personally, for your own use. You may not copy, share, resell or publish them, or upload them to any third-party service for redistribution.
8. WhatsApp support
Your programme includes a private WhatsApp group containing you and both coaches. It is private to you; we do not put clients into shared groups.
We aim to reply within a few hours on weekdays, and as soon as we reasonably can at other times. This is a support channel between sessions, not a monitored or emergency service, and it is not staffed overnight, at weekends or on public holidays.
The group stays open during your programme and for twelve weeks after your final session, after which we may close it.
We ask that the group is used respectfully. We may withdraw access if it is used abusively.
9. Scheduling, rescheduling and missed sessions
Sessions are booked around your schedule. All sessions in your package must be used within twelve weeks of your programme starting, unless we agree otherwise with you in writing.
If you need to move a session, tell us as early as you can and we will do our best to find another time. A session you do not attend, and did not tell us about in advance, may be counted as used.
If we need to move a session, we will offer you an alternative time at no cost to you.
10. This is coaching, not therapy
The programme is coaching and personal development. It is not therapy, counselling, psychiatric or medical treatment, and it is not a substitute for any of them. We are not acting as your therapist or clinician.
Coaching of this kind can surface difficult material. If something comes up that is better served by clinical support, we will say so, and we may suggest you speak to your GP or a qualified therapist. We may recommend pausing or ending the programme if we believe it is not the right support for you at that time.
If you are ever in crisis or at risk of harming yourself, please contact your GP, call 999, or call the Samaritans free on 116 123 at any hour. Please do not rely on the WhatsApp group in an emergency; it is not monitored around the clock.
11. Your responsibility and outcomes
What you get out of coaching depends heavily on your own engagement, decisions and circumstances. You remain responsible for your own choices and actions. We do not guarantee any particular personal, career, financial or business outcome.
Nothing in the programme is legal, financial, medical or psychological advice.
12. Confidentiality
What you share in sessions and in your WhatsApp group is treated as confidential between you and the two coaches, who discuss your programme with each other in order to deliver it.
We may break confidentiality only where we reasonably believe there is a risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or where the law requires it.
We will not use your name or anything you have shared in marketing without asking you first.
13. Your personal information
To deliver the programme we collect and hold personal information about you, including the case history you give in your discovery session, our session notes, and the messages in your WhatsApp group. Some of this may be sensitive.
We hold it for the purpose of delivering your coaching, keep it no longer than we need it, and do not sell it or share it with anyone outside the two coaches, except where section 12 applies or a service we use to run the programme requires it.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. How we handle personal information generally is set out in our Privacy Policy.
14. Intellectual property
All programme materials, frameworks, recordings and resources remain the intellectual property of Discovery Group, Melissa Rose, or our licensors. Taking part does not transfer any ownership to you.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, our total liability in connection with the programme will not exceed the total fees you have paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, business, goodwill or anticipated savings.
16. Ending the programme
We may end your programme if you behave abusively towards either coach, or if you breach these terms in a serious way. Where we do, fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise.
If either coach becomes unable to deliver the programme through illness or other circumstances outside our control, we will offer you a rescheduled programme, delivery by the remaining coach, or a refund of the part you have not received.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here when you booked is the one that applies to you.
18. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
